I have a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens that I use to take photos of bugs and flowers (click to open flower page). Macro photography is lots of fun, and gives a great appreciation for the detail in nature. Maybe I’m weird, but I think bugs are pretty cute. Oftentimes, it takes patience and several shots to get a good photo of a run-a-way bug or fluttering flyer! Also, in July 2006 I went to the butterfly room at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Every Christmas I make a calendar for my friends and family. This year the theme of the calendar is "Aerial North Cascades," containing 13 carefully selected high-quality aerial images of Washington's rugged and beautiful glaciated North Cascades.
