I have a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens that I use to take photos of flowers and bugs (click to open bug page). Macro photography is lots of fun, and gives a great appreciation for the detail in nature. Oftentimes, it takes patience and several shots to get a good photo of a flower fluttering in the breeze!
The following is a sampling of some of my favorite flowers, mostly from Washington, British Columbia, and California.

Every Christmas I make a calendar for my friends and family. This year the theme of the calendar is "Aerial North Cascades," containing 13 carefully selected high-quality aerial images of Washington's rugged and beautiful glaciated North Cascades. Each month is represented by an aerial photo taken during that month.
